The short version
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. No accounts, no tracking profiles, no data sold to anyone — ever. Cute Timer is a client-side app: everything happens in your browser.
Local storage only
To make the timer feel personal, we store a few settings in your browser's local storage: your chosen timer durations, auto-break preference, sound and notification settings, your to-do list, the lo-fi track you liked, volume, and your theme and language preferences. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Analytics and cookies
Cute Timer does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics scripts. We have no interest in following you around the internet.
Third-party services
Our pages load the Baloo 2 font from Google Fonts and, when you play music, stream two lo-fi audio files from our own hosting. These services may process your IP address as part of normal internet traffic. We do not control their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.
Notifications
If you enable browser notifications, your browser handles the permission and delivery locally. We never receive your notification data.
Children's privacy
Because we collect no personal data at all, Cute Timer is safe for everyone, including children. If you believe your child has shared personal information with us through a contact message, please reach out and we’ll delete it promptly.
